Aaron Rudolph has lived most of his life in the American southwest, drawing many of his subjects from the region’s people and their long-surviving cultures. His work is as likely to feature burritos and BBQ as it is offer an image of the Sangre de Cristo mountains or a tumbleweed floating along a rural South Plains road. Rudolph is the author of the poetry collection Sacred Things.
