
Donna Pucciani has published over three hundred poems in the U.S. and U.K. in such venues as National Catholic Reporter, International Poetry Review, Journal of the American Medical Association, Journal of Medical Humanities, Mid-America Poetry Review, Spoon River, Pedestal, and Hawaii Pacific. She has won awards from the Illinois Arts Council, Poets and Patrons of Chicago, the Illinois State Poetry Society, the National Federation of State Poetry Societies, and the Frieda Stein Fenster Memorial. Her previous books of poetry include The Other Side of Thunder (Flarestack, Great Britain) and Jumping Off the Train (Windstorm, U.S.). As a teacher for nearly four decades, her academic experience encompasses humanities, music, women’s studies, and English. She currently resides in the Chicago metropolitan area.
