刘春，曾用笔名西岩、刘项等。20世纪70年代初期生于广西荔浦县歧路村。在《人民文学》、《诗刊》、《上海文学》、《青年文学》、《星星》、《北京文学》、《天涯》、《南方文坛》、《山花》、《江南》、《芙蓉》等权威文学刊物发表过大量作品，入选过近百种选刊和选本。著有诗集《忧伤的月亮》、《运草车穿过城市》、《幸福像花儿开放》、《刘春卷》，文化随笔集《博尔赫斯的夜晚》、《或明或暗的关系》、《让时间说话》，诗学专著《朦胧诗以后》等；编有《70后诗歌档案》（上、下册）。获得过诗刊社首届 "华文青年诗人奖"、广西人民政府文艺创作最高奖"铜鼓奖"、北京市文艺评论奖、广西文艺评论奖、广西金嗓子青年文学奖等奖项。2000年创办“扬子鳄”网络诗歌论坛，2002年参加第18届"青春诗会"。现居桂林。为桂林市作家协会副主席。
Liu Chun was born in Lipu County of Guangxi province. His work has appeared in the People's Literature, Poetry Magazine, Shanghai Literture, Youth Literature, Stars, Beijing Literature, Tianya, Southern Forum, Shanhua, Jiangnan, Furong, and other literary magazines, as well as hundreds of anthologies. He has published collections such as Melancholic Moon, The Straw Wagon Went through the City, Happiness Bloomed as Flowers, Liu Chun Volume, the essay collection Evening of Borges, Ambiguous Relationship, Let the Time Speak, Poetics After Misty Poetry: the map of the Chinese poetry stage 1986-2007, etc. He also edited Poetry Files for the generation after the 70s. Awarded first “Chinese Youth Poet” prize from Poetry Magazine, best award of Bronze Drum by Guangxi People’s Government, Beijing City Literary Criticism Award, Guangxi Literary Criticism Award, Guangxi Golden Voice Youth Literary Award, etc. He created “Yangzi Alligator” Poetry Forum, and participated in the 18th “Youth Poetry Conference” in 2002. He is living in Guilin and is the vice president of the Guilin Writers Association.
